Rooted in Freedom, Grounded in Nature
At our core, we believe that learning is most powerful when it’s rooted in freedom, curiosity, and connection to the natural world. The Sudbury educational model beautifully complements a play- and nature-based approach—giving children the space to grow, explore, and thrive in their own unique way.
In a setting where they’re free to follow their interests and engage with the outdoors, children learn through real-world experiences—whether that’s building forts, caring for animals, or solving problems alongside friends. It’s through this kind of self-directed play that they naturally develop confidence, collaboration, creativity, and emotional resilience.
We welcome homeschoolers, unschoolers, school days off, and families looking for an educational experience that honors your child’s individuality. If you're seeking a nurturing, freedom-centered environment where learning happens organically and joyfully, you’ve found your place..

Our Campus
Tucked away on a small urban farm in the heart of West Boise, our campus is a year-round outdoor learning environment designed to nurture curiosity, creativity, and meaningful connection. Surrounded by shady trees, garden beds, and beloved animals, children spend their days immersed in hands-on experiences—gathering eggs, raising chicks, caring for our miniature horse, rabbits, and chickens, and engaging deeply with the land.
Our space invites exploration and play. Children zoom along the skate and bike path, soar down the zip line, dig in the sandbox, climb the jungle gym, and help prepare meals in our outdoor kitchen. We share organic, made-from-scratch meals together every day—including breakfast, lunch, and nourishing snacks—where food becomes a time for community, rhythm, and real-life learning.
In colder seasons, we cozy up around the fire pit or nap beneath the trees, bundled under the sky. Our fruit trees, school garden, and expansive market garden offer daily opportunities to engage with food systems, nature’s rhythms, and sustainability in action.
While most of our days are spent outdoors, we also have a warm indoor space filled with possibilities: art supplies, Montessori-inspired toys, musical instruments, board games, LEGO bricks, and an inviting collection of books. It’s a space for gathering, imagining, building, and creating—especially when the weather calls for indoor inspiration.
Our campus is more than a place to learn—it’s a place where learning grows naturally, joyfully, and in tune with each child’s unique rhythm and curiosity.
